My Hillwalking Diary

Since I climbed my first Munro in September 2010 I have been bitten by the hillwalking bug (and also quite a few midgies!).I have decided to record all my walks in this blog so I can record my progress .

Conic Hill, Balmaha 1200ft

On our way to an overnight stay in the Buchanan Arms in Drymen, we parked in Balmaha and went up Conic Hill. It was very windy at the summit. We had a clear view though of the Highland Boundary Fault. We could see Ben Lomond, Ben Arthur and The Cobbler. It was a steep climb, the weather was very wet and the ground boggy and slippy but as always it was worthwhile.
